In year 2009 JSC „Esperonus“ developed an information system "Your trusted Lithuanian resorts guide", which is dedicated for the tourism sector of Lithuanian resorts.
There are many convenient possibilities realized in the system for the Lithuanian and foreign tourist. System is designed as well to efficiently serve organizations providing tourism services and help them to increase their sales for their primary clients.

Why system is CONVENIENT for the potential visitor-tourist of the Lithuanian resorts:
Because of very detailed search criteria for lodging services - information may be sorted by:
• The type of organization providing lodging services (hotels, hostels, guest houses, camping, private sector, rest houses, sanatoriums);
• Price;
• Room type (single, double, triple, four seater, apartament, double+);
• Room commodities;
• Additional services provided by host;
• Payment type.
Because of convenient way of choosing the lodging place, as follows:
• After selecting several favorite objects for stay, it is possible to mark the favorites and ask all of them about the possible reservation by one e-mail.
• After selecting rooms for stay, it is possible to send the information about them to friend and future travel companions.
• After choosing place for stay, reservation is agreed directly with the service provider according to the reservation conditions specified by them. Contacts information is announced in the system.
Because of the plenty of structured information:
• Currently there is a lot of information about tourism services objects accumulated in the system. UAB ”Esperonus” did not wait, untill all tourism services provided fill in information themselves, but collected, structured information and afterwards inspired tourism services providers to add additional and update current information. Updating of information is continued.
• Currently system comprise the following:
- Almost 700 of lodging services providers,
- More than 200 cattering services providers,
- More than 200 entertaining services objects.
• All information is highly structured in order to help visitor find what he/she is looking for quickly, avoiding time-consuming reading of texts.
Why system is USEFUL for the tourism services providers of resorts:
I. Because www.resorts.lt is CONVENIENT for the tourists choosing services, thus they will use the system and they will find registered services providers and their services in the system, they will be able to evaluate them and CHOOSE.
II. Because tourism services providers may market their services themselves actively:
• providers may input/update information about their services themselves;
• providers may submit extensive information about delivered services, in such a way services providers from small business develop their "mini web sites";
• providers may communicate with active internauts. If the latter leave feedback on the services provided, providers receive information letters about that and may respond or comment.
III. Because the system is „alive“ – it is being developed further:
• JSC „Esperonus“ has created it and will develop further according to the needs and reviews of its internet users.
• Tourism services providers may suggest ways of possible extension of the system and they will be realized following the product development strategy.
• System may be integrated with auxiliary information systems that is currently owned by service providers (hotel reservation systems, etc.). Such specialized and unique works may be performed upon separate agreements.
